Really, what IS the problem with network marketing?

If there is a problem with Network Marketing it is…

…because it is a people and relationship business.  Like any business, the main ingredient is people.

The constitution says that everyone was created as an equal, no one person is any different from the other as created by nature. In a sense what this is saying is that every person is different and unique unto themself, and the qualtiy of being unique is also a common quality. All snow flakes are alike, but no two are alike. It really is the same idea with people.

In network marketing you are immediately confronted by the fact that every person has a different level of understanding, knowledge, priorities, skills and life experiences.  Because network marketing is a great way for people to get started with their own business anyone can start a business and the only criteria for “being accepted” is by signing up as an associate.  As long as you are 18 years old, you can get started with a network marketing business.

So, considering all of this what happens is you get a lot of people joining who have actually no idea about how to do all of this. Yours truly included. The beauty of network marketing is you can learn as you go.  It is actually the only business I can think of that gives you the ability to actually build your business before you really know much about it.  For this reason, most of the experience people have with network marketing is that they have been shown the products and business in a very amateur manner.  The result is, it puts people off.

The potential customer or prospect you approach is not going to expect or have any knowledge of what a network marketer has to present.  On top of that, the potential customer or prospect will try to show the marketer how much they know about it, so they don’t feel like they are at a disadvantage, and the results of that are the standard old lines about pyramid schemes, snowball schemes and scams.

After you have been down that road as a marketer you begin to get very tired of talking to people who have no idea what you are talking about but have no reservation in telling you how much they know about it.  It is uncanny how predictable this scenario is and how very discouraging.

It really gets down to the blind trying to lead the blind. It isn’t going to work.

The reason network marketing doesn’t work is because it is a people business, and people are very complicated entities.

Enter the Empower Network and the hybrid affiliate and network marketing model incorporated with the very valuable skill of internet marketing.

With the Empower Network you use direct sales generated through internet marketing to build a network of affiliates in your team.  The comission paid is directly to one affiliate, and always only to one affiliate.

That is what affiliate marketing is, you create one sale and you get one commission for that sale. Since one customer can buy multiple products from an affiliate these commissions are not based on recruiting people, but are based on the products that people buy.

Each sale is successive, one after the other, linear. When a customer decides  to be an affiliate then that begins the networking side of the Empower Network.  Each customer that decides to become an affliate then begins to sell products, earn commissions which begin the next level of the original affiliates team, or network . And when someone wants to become an affiliate under those affiliates, that begins a new line.  This is how the network is set up in the Empower Network.

What the Empower Network doesn’t do is place people under people, as in many and most compensation plans, and this is why the Empower Network is really an affiliate program.

WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT?

In most network marketing compensation plans, you get into legs of people’s businesses. The biggest problem with that is that in fact it does matter where you are placed in an organization, there will always be a strong leg and a weak leg, and so what knowledgable people do is try and get in the strong leg of an established leader in that business. You don’t qualify for commissions at all unless you make your own sales, but, your sales can increase a lot faster if one side of your business is being taken care of by a  host of powerful business leaders in the same leg as you above or below you.

This is known as leverage. The efforts of many, helping you to make money, and in doing so, they are helped too. It makes a lot of sense.

The great thing about the Empower Network, is that it really doesn’t matter who you sign up with, because the people above you can’t place people below you and so there are no legs as in the traditional business model.

This is a good thing because a affiliate sponsors are all created equal in the Empower Network and so there is no gain from being in a certain leg.  You only earn commission through your team, which is only tied to you.  This means that the beginner and the experienced sponsor have equal power, and this means that experienced sponsors aren’t any more valuable than a novice, considering the compensation plan.

Dave and Dave built it this way so that affiliates below them can actually make more money than they do because the results each affiliate gets is solely based on their ability to build their organization. For instance, none of the money I paid for Empower Network products went to Dave or Dave.

You have read correctly. Dave and Dave haven’t made a dime off of me. The only people who earn commissions on the products I buy are my direct sponsor on those products. Thus, you can see that this is set up differently than possibly all network marketing companies.

So, yes, people is what makes or breaks any business. Network or affiliate marketing is no different. But, with the Empower Network, you take100%  full credit for every sale you are qualified to make.

That is enough, probably more than enough for today.
