Relationship Marketing: Building a business with people you know, trust and like.

Relationship Marketing: Using a vehicle to get where you want to go.

The great thing about relationship marketing is that you build a business with people you know, trust and like, and they build their business the same way. This way, you know you are in a business you can trust.

Isn’t that the real problem with network marketing? People are skeptical of it.

Why?  Because they don’t understand it. They ”think” they know, but they don’t.

If you don’t ”see it” with network marketing then you are missing out on a great opportunity.

A Vehicle is a company and it’s products you promote to earn the money to fulfill a dream you have for your life.

There are many vehicles out there you can choose to build a relationship marketing business with and for sure you have to choose which vehicle makes the most sense to you.

I like the Empower Network, because it is actually the best way to learn to promote anything, so you not only earn a high commission but you learn how to promote everything else in your life. So, it is sort of a have your cake and eat it too company.

The ”Dream” of Relationship Marketing

The ”dream” of network marketing, relationship marketing, is that you bring your people into the business, help them build their business and they make an income and so do you. You work together to build an income for everyone on the team.

How cool would it be if you made 20,000 per month, your sister made 15,000 per month and your high school buddy made 10,000 per month and then out of nowhere someone you don’t even know, friend of a friend of a friend outearns all of you and makes 50,000 a month, as a single mother out of a job. Now, because you built that business that woman and her child has been helped. You are friends and family, but it begins to get like Kardashians. Instead of people in your circle just barely scraping by, after a while, they are breaking free of the financial constraints that limit them.

That is the dream, bringing something real into people’s lives that actually moves the needle for them. Without you, that single mother would still be struggling. What a feeling that must be to have helped someone out in a real and tangible way. It beats the heck out of simply giving them money, doesn’t it?

I know three brothers who are building a network marketing business. All have their own business, yes, but they worked together to build their businesses and now all three of them are millionaires. They are nobody special, regular folks, school teacher types. But they decided it was time to step ahead of the game and work together to build something special and they did.

That is the dream of network marketing, seeing friends, family and people who are in need of answers build together and establish prosperity for themselves.

It is a lot nicer to sit in a 5 star restaurant and chill than to sit at McDonalds. That is a bit of a stretch I know, but the point is, why not? Why not build one thing together where everyone locks arms and helps each other win?

The Reality: The heartbreak of network/relationship marketing

So, you have a company and products that will work well for a marketing cooperation with your peeps, and you say, ”hey, lets do this!”  Then comes the reality, no one is at all interested.

The people you know, trust and like are happy in their lives, borrowing money to get by, trying to figure out how to pay for this or that, always complaining they don’t have enough money. Yet, you say, hey lets do this and they would rather be caught dead than making money.

It doesn’t matter. You learn one lesson in all of this. That the people in your life who have accompanied you to this point are not going to be the people who will accompany you to where you want to go and trying to bring them with you is a waste of time and energy. You don’t change those relationships, because you love those people, and they are important to you, but they aren’t going to be on the train to the next stop with you. They can’t and more importantly, they just won’t.

Network/Relationship Marketing Reality

So who is going to be on your train? Your new relationships are going to be people you will become friends and family with after they are in business with you. You are looking for people who want to be on that train and who want to live life at a higher level. You are looking for business partners who will become your friends, not friends who will become your business partners.

For me, it is the biggest disappointment to know that nobody in my circle is coming with me. I don’t know if that says something about me or not. Probably so.

But, I can’t wait any longer. It would have been fun to build a business together, but I guess I’m going to have to do it without them. I hope that everyone makes it to where they want to go, but honestly, I don’t know how they are going to do it.

Ciao!
