The most beautiful music ever written series of videos. Tchaik 6!

I’ll never forget the day I truly discovered the profound sound of a full symphony orchestra .

I was on my way to an italian class at the Eastman School of Music, which was held in a little classroom in the Eastman Theater, and crossing through the foyer of the upper balcony I heard the Eastman Philharmonia rehearsing on the mainstage so I went to listen for a couple of minutes. When I sat down they started to play this section of the work and I was thrilled by the essential gorgeousness of this music. The sublime acoustic of this grand hall, the vast sea of strings waving back and forth with their bows, created an ethereal sound that you come by rarely anywhere.

Obviously, I went to the concert at the end of the week and this piece became one of my favorite pieces in all of the repertoire.

I like sharing music that I feel is ”required” listening for the average person so that they can have access to the wonderful works of art and music that exist.
