It is such an honor to get to come back to Western Kentudky University and sing with the Symphony at WKU on the stage where my opera career began over 30 years ago.
In the magnificent confines of Van Meter Auditorium, accoustics which are second to none, and maybe the greatest location of any Theater I have sung in, it will be a pleasure to sing with the orchestra, Bll Scott conducting, and the Chorus some of the nicest Christmas music you could want to hear.
I will be singing with a mikrophone, which is totally unusual for me, but it simply fits the style of the evening better and should go over well.
My whole style and concept of singing will be different from what I have done up to now, so it is a debut of sorts.
Hope to see some familiar faces and to sing well enough to have a nice evening with them.
