Returning to Your Passion

Life is full of distractions. In fact, sometimes it seems as if distractions is what life is made of.

It is easy to get carried away with the rip-tides and undercurrents in life’s turbulent seas. It seems like you swim and swim then look towards the shore and see that you have gone backwards, moved farther away and gotten tired of fighting the waters of time in what once was your life’s purpose.

This  blog is tied to my purpose.  Music, the arts, writing and performing are the things that I truly love. My blogging has been distracted by the turbulence in my life and with it my purpose, goals and dreams have been drifting slowly away with them.

The entire reason for this blog in particular is to not only focus myself on my own artistic path but also to be able and help others on theirs.  The reason this blogging platform is different than any other on the internet is the fact that you can earn good commissions on every sale you make of it and have those commissions come into your bank account on a regular monthly basis.

Part of my purpose is to help artists fund their art, either when they are beginning their journey, during their journey or late in the journey…

…but here is the real kicker here…

Blogging is about content, and if there is anything that artists produce it is content, beautiful, inspiring content.

Whether it be writing poems, singing songs, painting pictures, doing sculptures, performing in plays, dancing in ballets or performing in operas or musicals…

…artists create the most compelling content of anyone!

On top of all of this, and I am going to be working on my other blog timothy-simpson.com to update my career history as well.

You see, the blog is a wonderful way to catalogue your life, your career, anything you want and because once you build your blog with all of your information, you will not want to lose it for all the tea in China, especially when it is putting money into your account month for month.

I joined the Empower Network and this blogging platform because it embodies the same principles as my book Boredom to Brilliance: Empower people to believe in themselves and the power that lies deep within. It also uses the principles of starting small and expanding yourself in it’s compensation plan, in it’s product structure and in the intelligence in which this company operates.

But on top of all of this, the training in the other products teaches you how to market yourself, your art and get your message out to the world in a compelling, authentic and meaningful way.

I have been distracted by too many things in my life and I have let things blow the wind out of my sails, but I can’t give up on my mission, my purpose to make the arts not only beautiful, artists not only powerful, but also to make the arts profitable and do it in a way that is elegant and smart.

I cannot live the rest of my life adrift at sea, wondering what I am called to do. I know what it is, but I lost my way and let myself be dragged around by too many different drains on my own power.

So, this is a return to the passion of my book, the passion of this project and the divine commission I was given to be an innovator in the arts world by bringing a new way for artists to not only create the art they want to create on their own terms, but also to help them make the living they deserve.

Nobody on earth works harder than people in the arts. It is time artists made money being who they are supposed to be and this blogging platform and with my Team Brilliance can be the catalyst for it.
