To Live Your Life You Must Walk Away From The 97%
One of the most difficult decisions in life is to walk away from the 97%. This principle introduced to me through Jim Rohn’s teaching, was my wake up call. I realize that most of the influences in my life inhabit the 97% mentalities and if I am to get out of that it means that I have to begin walking a different path. You don’t necessarily have to neglect your influences or separate yourself from it, because it is a part of your life too, but unless you are able to break away from the 97% mentality and begin to live a new life, you will never change anything in your life for the better. As simple as this might sound, it isn’t, for the number one influence of your 97% mentality is the one you have in yourself. Changing that means actually living a changed life. It is an uncomfortable thing to do. It is easy to walk away from the mentality of others, but changing your own is a real challenge. It can only be done with total immersion.
Walk Away From The 97% Means To Walk On Water
Happiness, salvation, love, prosperity and freedom are abundant gifts of the ‘universe’ and accessible to everyone , but you cannot be given them by anyone except yourself and you cannot give them to someone else if they aren’t willing to accept them. To be happy, saved, loved, prosperous and free you have to do them and there is no separation between being and doing. Either you are or you aren’t. What is the barrier holding us back from these cherished gifts? Fear of loss/pain and the concentration on it. What is the anecdote for fear of loss/pain? Focus on gain/pleasure.
The battlefield of life takes place in the mind’s thoughts and we can either allow our thoughts to drift along with the muck of the losers mentality in society or we guide our thoughts so that our world is determined by our dreams and ideals. How do we loose ourselves from the inbred history of negative influence? Simply drop it and leave it on the road of time to rot. Do not fight against these influences or hold on to arguments, for that is the doorway to tribulation.
Walk on the water led by a firm conviction to your highest ideals, society will pull you under, for it loves foolishness. Walk away from the 97%!
There Are No Days Off To Walk Away From The 97%
To walk away from the 97% you must be willing to do what the 97% don’t do, and that is practice daily habits of empowerment. Taking a day off kills your momentum and will stop the habit forming practice of consistency. To get what you want you must do what you want and you must do that every day. Consistency with a higher purpose is the principle resource of the 3%. Only the truly great achieve consistency and they are great because of it. Giving up one day on your dreams and your focus on being in the 3% will require 5 to recover from it. Don’t ever miss a day.
