Doing the Simple Things In Life
This is my father and brother a couple of summers ago at the local minor league ballpark. My mom was probably at home cooking, out shopping for us or at home taking a break from serving her men all day! I grew up in a very nice and loving family. I am the luckiest guy on earth.
I left home in 1984 to go to graduate school and three years later found myself in Zürich, Switzerland and have now been living in Germany for nearly 25 years singing lead tenor roles in operas in theaters all over Germany. I love Germany. I love music and I am probably the luckiest man on earth.
But being a full time opera singer isn’t as glamorous as people might think. For all of the fabulous times I’ve had my parents have been to Europe to visit me three or four times, my brother has visited once and most of the years I went home once a year, sometimes even skipping a year. So, I haven’t had much time with my family since I left home in 1984.
Now I would like to be able to be at home more often to see them and to take care of things a bit more as they get older. But, one big issue is the cost of travel and the freedom to travel. Meaning, I need to make a good bit of money AND be free to travel when and how long I want. The only way I see of accomplishing these two challenges is to build a business that can be run 100% online. I have searched and tried to find something that meets these requisites and knew there had to be something that worked.
The Brilliant Business
I recently published the book Boredom to Brilliance which discusses how art is created from an idea and then goes through a process until it becomes reality on a scale that is considered commonly as art. The Empower Network has created a business which follows exactly the precepts of my book, the brilliance of creation, something out of nothing, using certain knowledge and techniques to form something which can propel the world to a higher existence. This knowledge and technique, the business model can be duplicated as many times as needed and voila you have something that works and can really help people out. I am just getting started here, but I certainly believe that it will work for me, because I need it to!
