The Happiest Day In Life #2

The Happiest Day In Life #2 is the moment of achievement. At least that is what comes to mind right now. If you have ever watched the film ”The Pursuit of Happiness” with Will Smith, he defines the moment of getting the job at the investment firm as happiness. The major purpose in life as correctly outlined in our constitution, along with life and liberty, is the pursuit of happiness. Meaning, as is pointed out in the film, that the promise of that happy moment when you have achieved something you have been pursuing is a core value in life and one secured by the constitution of the United States.

It is not only a right of the individual but also the responsibility of the individual to pursue it. After all, nobody can give you that feeling of achievement but you, not even if they wanted to. Then success is empty without the struggle and even if it is, like I did when I was 17 or so, just walking yourself in the door of a grocery store, asking to speak to the manager to talk to him about getting a job there, and then getting hired, that feeling is a great feeling. The consequent experiences of such successes whether it be in making a Little League baseball team, getting a part in a play or making an A on a test in school, those accomplishments that you achieve through your own honest efforts are well deserved and sources of happiness in life, real happiness. It is not the only one, but a big one.

The Happiest Day Can’t Be Faked

The Happiest Day In Life #2 in the achievement of something you have striven for cannot be faked. It is an interesting thought, but if you don’t feel this happiness when you achieve something then it is possible you did not give your best in achieving it. In addition it could show that the achievement you sought is not something you truly wanted deep down in your core. True happiness in achievement is one of the highest feelings in life and worth every drop of energy put into it.

The Happiest Day In Life #2

The Happiest Day In Life is not given away for free. I think it is possible people don’t pursue things because they don’t believe that it is achievable for them. People settle for what they have created up till now and don’t take on a new challenge because they don’t believe they can do it, so never try. It does take belief in self and with it comes the times of pushing through when your belief in yourself isn’t very high. In order to have the power to achieve something, that something has to have a huge emotional impact on you that by its attainment makes a real difference in your life. So, all of the obstacles and problems encounter along the way are there to make the feeling of achievement at the end even a more satisfying experience for you. If you get something easily, then it has no sweat equity in it, and therefore little intrinsic value.

Often the road to these achievements are lonely and the wind blowing against you is strong. There seems to be resistance from the very sources that claim to support you the most. You take the hits, the criticism, the doubters and the haters, keep on smiling and digging in toward your goals. Often people will cheer you on, but if it is something where you don’t fit into other’s film for your life, they will be vehemently against it. It is a hard thing to endure, but if you truly want something, it is part of the price of achievement and adds to the sweetness of victory.
